What's better than watching the town council woman sweep the race? Mary Kate Mullen placed first OA woman at the very first Hope Runs Here 5 miler. This run supports the Long Island 2 day walk and the Islip Breast Cancer Coalition. It is part of the long island racing series, which draws the fastest of the fast, with many locals scoring hardware on this overcast cool day....perfect running conditions.
