Yesterday I was able to photograph the Net Walk for the American Kidney Fund in Melville, Long Island. It's an event that helps raise funds and awareness for kidney disease. The charity walk from their Long Island office in Melville raised over $5,000 yesterday. Isn't that amazing?
I'm very excited to share these photos with everyone involved, as well as those who attended. They're all available for FREE to download. Feel free to share to friends, family, & those who attended as well. Sharing is caring!

This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the Shelter Island 10K/5K Run/Walk and all of the dedicated and hardworking runners. The amount of people who attended this event was amazing, and really shows how dedicated the community is to helping one another out.
Hope Runs Here 5K course- I'm back... But not to run the race. A few years ago I ran the Hope Runs Here Half Marathon in Smith's Point, New York and was it hot. About 130 people dropped mid-race because of how hot it was. Although a good run, I didn't think I'd be returning after that day. As a matter of fact, I said I'd never step foot on this course again, but that's just bad running karma. So, here I am! Only this time I am armed..... camera in hand, I photographed it and cheered for you all who braved the heat today. I'm extremely proud of everyone running in it this year, and excited to share with you the pictures taken from the day. If you're interested in seeing me at another event, message me! I'd love to hear from you.
Is it already June?? What's better than starting off Summer RIGHT, with a beautiful and memorable family beach session of you and your family? The answer is nothing. You're truly going to want these memories of your family to treasure forever, and I'm excited to allow you this opportunity. Choose from one of the many beaches located on Long Island! This session took place on Long Beach over in Nassau County.
Here's one of my favorite family beach sessions. From start to finish, this family was all smiles and fun during our session. Not one single moment will be forgotten as all of it has been captured and printed to keep. Between professional family portraits and fun and happy candids, there were a lot of photos taken that day. This is a family that I see every summer for a family beach session and it is insane how fast kids grow. I've been photographing their son since he was an infant! It's truly unbelievable when comparing each year's session to one another, seeing how much has changed and how these kids have grown.
Don't miss out on having a chance to do this with your family. Photograph these milestones, I promise you won't regret it. If you have the opportunity, always say yes to a photo session of you and your family. Live with pictures, not regrets. If you have any questions regarding a session, I'd love to hear from you!
Seriously, how cute are they? Living on Long Island gives us a ton of beaches to choose from, why not have a session on your favorite? If you're thinking about it, just do it! Contact me and I'll make the perfect arrangements for you and your family.
The morning of the race I had driven towards the YMCA in Bay Shore to start setting up and wow, was there a lot of pink. The overwhelming support and love from the large group of people that attended the YMCA 5K Run in Memory of Judi was truly amazing. When the race had started and the sea of pink came running towards me, I knew it was going to be a good day for photo ops. Here are 3 reasons why you should run for the photo op.
By showing your support in more ways than one, you can share these photos to your friends and family. The use of the internet has never been more important. Not only can you now officially prove to everyone that you ran a 5k, but you can share what a great event it was. The cause you ran for is so important. Share with a friend or two and maybe they'll accompany you on the next one!
Free? Yes- free. All photos taken from the YMCA 5K Run in Memory of Judi can be found in the gallery I just posted. You may view your photos here and download/share them as you please. If you just ran a 5K, you deserve some free photos!
This probably sounds cheesy, I know. But after seeing me in the middle of all of the pink, everyone started to run again and most didn't stop. Running for the photo also gave that little push that kept the energy flowing. From the start line to the finish line, I've captured the memories and you can view them here.
